I received a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Community Health. Health and wellness have always been an interest of mine and have always been CPR/First Aid certified. As I raised 4 children, I privately taught swimming lessons. Re-entering the workforce I worked for a dental provider and spent 8 years working for D51 School District. Having been a patient of Healing Horizons for 13 years, I finally am an administrative support to them in the office.

Several reasons I love working at Healing Horizons are interacting with the great staff and clients. There is amazing talent that is a part of every visit here. It is fun to get to know patients and  watch people improve and heal as they choose to be part of the healing process. A true feeling of healing and positive energy make this the best place to be.

Outside of the office I love anything to do with being outside such as hiking, paddle boarding, reading, hanging out, or fire pits. I love learning about other healing and health information to improve wellness, currently I am fascinated with learning all I can about light and anything to do with it. Some decorating projects that are fun for me are sewing, painting, and woodwork. Not afraid to use power tools!
