We Are Healing Horizons

Healing Horizons Integrated Health Solutions is an integrative wellness center created to provide quality care by unifying the expertise of a team of practitioners who are proficient and adept in their respective fields of healthcare. Our team believes that each modality of healthcare has different strengths, and integration of these strengths amplifies the quality and efficacy of care. While a variety of services are offered at Healing Horizons Integrated Health Solutions, clients are encouraged to consider our Healing Horizons Wellness Accumulation Program, which has been designed to integrate multiple modalities to meet the unique healthcare needs of each individual. The modalities included in the Wellness Program may include, but are not limited to: Acupuncture, Massage, Medical Massage, Oncology Massage, Functional Medicine, Chiropractic Care, Nursing, Craniosacral Therapy, Homeopathy, Behavioral Health and Psychological Services.

Services and Treatments We Offer At Healing Horizons

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an Ancient Chinese medical procedure that treats illness or provides local anesthesia by the insertion of needles at specified sites of the body. Acupuncture can treat various disorders by stimulating nerve impulses.

Psychotherapy

Psychotherapy is an intentional interpersonal relationship used by trained psychotherapists to aid a client to increase the individual’s sense of well-being. Psychotherapists focus on improving the overall mental health of their patients.

Nutrition Therapy

Nutrition Therapy is based on a unique sequence of dietary and culinary education and planning, designed to optimize each client’s health with their own personal goals and lifestyle for progression toward their optimal health.

Functional Medicine

Dr. April Schulte received her clinical doctorate merging Chinese medicine with the functional medicine paradigm and recognizes the body as one integrated system rather than a collection of independent organs. Using this underlying premise, specific blood work and/or saliva testing is ordered and analyzed.

Biofeedback Heartmath Intervention

Biofeedback Heartmath Intervention emphasizes the heart as a key component of the emotional system and provides a set of tools and technologies that make it easier for people to make positive emotional and attitudinal shifts.

Tai Chi and QiGong

The goal of Taiji and Qigong is to enhance flexibility, balance, and strength, both physically and mentally. Each class is begun with a meditation to center the mind and body, followed by taiji and qigong.

Oriental Medicine

Oriental medicine restores the body’s balance and harmony of yin and yang, which promotes health and helps to prevent disease. Oriental medicine includes acupuncture, dietary recommendations, Chinese herbal therapy, meditation, physical exercise, and massage.
